WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Darline Graham (R-South Carolina) today co-sponsored several pro-life bills that protect unborn children and support pregnant women.
“One of my core convictions is my belief in protecting the sanctity of human life at every stage. For years, I’ve committed my life to fighting for vulnerable populations, and no one is more vulnerable than an unborn child who cannot speak for themselves,” said Senator Darline Graham. “As a mother, I know that welcoming children into this world is God’s greatest gift. I’m proud to be pro-life and to stand up for the unborn and expecting moms. I will not waver in my support for life, pregnant women, and families.”
Overview of the pro-life bills backed by Senator Darline Graham:
- Support and Value Expectant (SAVE) Moms and Babies Act of 2026 – prohibits the approval of new abortion drugs and imposes new regulations on previously approved abortion drugs
- Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act – requires health care providers to admit children who survive an abortion to a hospital and exercise the same type of care to abortion survivors as any other child
- No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2025 – makes the Hyde Amendment – which prohibits tax dollars from funding abortion – permanent, rather than subject to the annual appropriations process
- Promoting Human Flourishing in Foreign Assistance Act – codifies and expands President Trump’s Mexico City policy by prohibiting U.S. foreign assistance from funding abortion, DEI or radical gender ideology
- Pregnant Students’ Rights Act – requires colleges and universities participating in federal student loan programs to provide information on the rights and resources available to pregnant students to support them carrying a baby to term
- Forced Abortion Prevention and Accountability Act – establishes criminal penalties for intentionally administering abortion-inducing drugs, transported across state lines, to a pregnant woman without her consent
