WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Darline Graham (R-South Carolina) today voted to advance the nomination of Todd Blanche to be the U.S. Attorney General. Blanche was reported out of the Senate Judiciary Committee by a vote of 12 to 10.

“I was pleased to support President Trump’s choice for Attorney General: Todd Blanche. Mr. Blanche is a highly qualified nominee who has proven his commitment to fighting crime in his role as the Acting Attorney General. I am confident Mr. Blanche will faithfully uphold our nation’s laws and keep law abiding Americans safe. I look forward to voting to confirm Mr. Blanche on the Senate floor as soon as possible,” said Senator Darline Graham. “Congress has work to do. Taking a month off with this nomination pending and more importantly, the SAVE America Act not being passed, isn’t what South Carolinians deserve.”
